THE UCLA EXPERIENCE/DISNEY MAGIC


well i just got back from La, and what a 4 day weekend it was

THURSDAY..
arrived at LAX and took a shuttle from the airport to school which took 1 and a half hours!
My roomate wasnt there yet.. so i walked around campus and wow..it was sooo beautiful at night..i never seen UCLA at night, and it was just amazing..i was walking around for like 2 hours in amazement thinking..damn this is my school...well then i go back and find my roomate and we walk around for another 2 hours and go to WESTWOOD BLVD..which has the best EVERYTHING! Hookah bars poppin...movies...bars...clubs..resturants..all crackin at 2am on a thursday night...i cant wait

o yeah..beautiful women everywhere you go, man..

FRIDAY...A MOMENT OF REALIZATION

so, it was orientation which lasted from 7am-8pm with no breaks and realized the pressures of UCLA in the very early stages of my transition...i realized just how small my niche was in front of a school that has like 40,000 students and i felt lost...i felt like i knew nobody..all my friends were 400 miles away and i felt like i had to start new..but i was content about it

so i talked with some cool ass people and exchanged #'s to keep in touch..no way you can meet 40,000 people, but what u can do is pick a small number of people who you get along with and thats all u really need

REGISTRATION...

i felt like crying..i never before felt so stupid andfrustrated
we had to pick our classes with no help at all
looking at my Degree Form and whati needed to take and what was available i almost gave up after over 2 hours

until something clicked and in an instant, everything became clear

FALL 05'

PSYCHOLOGICAL STATISTICS (4 units)
ABNORMAL PSYCHOLOGY (4 units)
PSYCHOLOGY AND LAW (4 units)

all these are upper division classes and i cant wait to start

COMMUNITY PSYCHOLOGY (4)
ADVANCED ENGLISH WRITING (5)
UNIVERSIRTY RESEARCH (2)


so im ready for LA, its just 2 weeks away, the problem is the wait..just waiting to move and start a new life..i got more to say bout' that, but ill save it for another time...so Bill picked me up from campus and went to Anaheim

SAT
Bill, Rose, Mike, Roxanne, Miguel, Lisa and Robert were already in DIsneyland the day b4, so i got a park hopper and went to disneyland for its 50th ANNIVERSARY!
went to California for a couple hours, which was alright but Disney is muchh better

it was off the hook
Miguel proposed to Lisa while waiting for the Peter pan ride! so they are getting married and got the proposal in DISNEYLAND..thats hellla cool!

SPACE MOUNTAIN and the FIREWORKS, were amazing!
i swear after the fireworks, everyone was in their 'kid phaze'
just smiling

they did crazyy things with the fireworks...the best show i have ever seen..and that goes for concerts and everything..the best show ever

SUN
went to downtown disney and left @ 5pm got home @ around 12am
we got no rest at all and im tired. so im going for now
